NFF Scribe Sanusi highlights Covid-19 pandemic losses on women Football

NFF scribe Mohammed Sanusi has stated that the Covid-19 pandemic has also been on the negative side for the Football Federation who will now have to start things afresh following the cancellation of the U19 women national team camp as well as that of the Nigeria U17 women team respectively.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the efforts and fund expanded already in that direction have gone down the drain especially for the U20 women who also had their camping cancelled after the postponement of qualifying games for the FIFA U19 women world cup and U17 who had one more qualifying phase to go.
“It has affected global football because we plan on what to do and that is why we invited players to camp and spent money. We spent a lot of money and all that is gone because if we are starting, we are starting afresh.”
