Nigeria Hallmark Awards honour Nwoko With Man of The Year award.

According to organizers of the well attended event, the award was given to Nwoko in recognition of his exceptional selfless service to the people of Delta North Senatorial district, popularly known as 'Anioma people' and Nigeria at large.

In recognition of his immense contributions towards political development of Nigerian and indeed Delta State, the former member representing Aniocha/Oshimili in Federal House of Representative, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has been bestowed with ‘Man of The Year’ Award by Nigeria Hallmark Awards.

The award ceremony took place yesterday at Welcome Center Hotels, Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to organizers of the well attended event, the award was given to Nwoko in recognition of his exceptional selfless service to the people of Delta North Senatorial district, popularly known as ‘Anioma people’ and Nigeria at large.

In his welcome address, Publisher /Editor-in-Chief of Crime World Magazine, who is also the organizer of the award, Prince Albert Uba said the awards are given to deserving individuals devoid of pecuniary gains.

Giving his acceptance speech after receiving the award of “MAN OF THE YEAR ” the international lawyer and Queens counsel dedicated the award to the entire people of Delta North Senatorial district whom he aspires to represent in the senate come 2019.

Nwoko, who was represented by his supporter and frontline journalist with The Guardian, Odita Sunday added that the people of Delta North senatorial district would soon wear smiles again on their faces when he becomes their next senator.

He urged politicians in the country to use their office and positions to better the lots of the ‘common man’.

Other awardees included Police Officers, media personalities, politicians and entrepreneurs.

The award ceremony featured music, comedy lecture and goodwill messages from well wishers.
