As his side get set to take on Rostov this weekend at the Stadion Neftyanik in Volgograd, Nigeria striker and FC Ufa of Russia player, Sly Igboun has revealed that the only thing he is concerned about this season is giving his best for the modest Russian outfit.
Vadim Evseev’s troops sit in 13th spot after 5 games into the new season, and a lack of goals has severely hampered Evseev’s side, consequently seeing them fall from last year’s sixth-place finish to fighting for stability in the current campaign.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Igboun also added that he wants to improve his performances this season as it will determine his long term future.
“Right now, everything is going okay, everything is going fine for me…what am thinking about right now is what I am going to give to the team, how am going to ensure we win matches, how my performance is going to be
Am also looking at improving my performance this season because that is what is going to decide what will happen to me in the future so that is exactly what I am focusing on right now”.
