Nigeria U23 defender Ebube Duru has stated that the Dream Team will have to work better for result to work out well for Nigeria in the return leg of the CAF Africa U23 cup of nations qualifier following Thursday’s 1-0 defeat to Sudan.
Duru speaking in a chat with brila.net after the game said the loss was very painful to the team but in all downplayed any problem while assuring that the team still has what it takes to turn things around.
“It’s very painful but all the same we give thanks to God. It’s an experience now for us and we will have to work better to overturn this and I will say again that the game was a very painful one to us yesterday.”
