Nigerian U19 Cricket team players set for senior team roles – Amoto

Technical director of the Nigeria Cricket Federation Enesi Amoto has stated that a number of the current Nigeria U19 Cricket national team players will be moved to the senior national team ahead of next month’s T20 Africa nations cup in Nairobi, Kenya after gathering the experience of playing at the U19 ICC world cup.

Amoto speaking in a chat with brila.net said Nigeria have already been invited by the Africa Cricket Association for the tournament in March and the Federation will use that as a platform to put to test the readiness of a number of the players fr the U19 team to step in big time to the senior national team.
“Nigeria have also been invited for Africa Cricket Association tournament in March in Kenya and hopefully we are looking at this current U19 to make up the bulk of the national team that will be going to Kenya.”
