Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwangwa has revealed the hidden wish of Kano Pillars not to give up their bid on giving a shot at the NPFL title after a brilliant display that earned Sai Masugida a come back 2-2 draw at the Aper Aku stadium against Lobi stars.
Nwangwa speaking in a chat with brila.net said the result gotten against high flying Lobi stars is a huge confidence booster for his side who will now hope to consolidate on the point gained in their next match and keep targeting the league title in the hope hope that come what may, a continental ticket will suffice as consolation.
“It gives us confidence and motivation to go back home and rearrange ourselves because we are aiming for the position where we are supposed to be.
“We are still on 7th position and we want to go to continental next season and we are even eyeing the title, winning the league won’t be a bad idea.”
