Obinna Nwobodo scores goal of the season contender in Hungary

Former Rangers International of Enugu midfielder Obinna Nwobodo scored a goal of the season contender for his club Ujpest FC on Sunday.

The young creative midfielder was on parade for the whole 90 minutes for Ujpest in their OTP Bank Liga clash with Fehervar FC.

Nwobodo scored his club’s first goal in the second half, which happened to the equalizer, after Kire Ristevski’s own goal gave Fehervar a first half lead.

Nwobodo unleashed a powerful right footed striker which left the goalkeeper as the ball flied into the back of the net.

Fehervar took the lead again with 18 minutes, thanks to Nemanja Nikolic, but the lead only lasted for four minutes when Jonathan Heris scored the second equalizer for Ujpest.

The draw lifted Ujpest to the seventh position on the table with 36 points from 29 matches.
