Odita blames officiating for Rangers woes

Captain of NPFL side and Nigeria’s CAF Confederation cup campaigner Enugu Rangers Okey Odita has attributed the Flying Antelope’s 1-3 home defeat to Pyramids FC of Egypt on questionable officiating.

Odita speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team still have hope of progressing despite losing the first of six group games.
He made reference to the penalty calls against his side as well as the red card to teammate Tope Olusesi. He there after added that the team will still make it out of the group nonetheless.
“We still have hope, because if you watch the match, you will see how referee destroy our side. The game referee was biased, blew two penalties against us and one red card. We still have hope, it’s just the first game of the group stage, I believe that we are going to make it.”
