OGU wept after scoring own goal in his last game for Hapoel Be’er Sheva

Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu played his last game for Israeli club, Hapoel Beer Sheeva on Sunday.

The Nigerian midfielder was on for the entire duration for the former Israeli Champions as suffered a 4-0 defeat to Maccabi Tel. Aviv.

 

The Super Eagles midfielder, however, scored an own goal in the 23rd minutes of the game but that was enough to overshadow the love and affections shown to him by the Club fans and management.

 

Ogu was honored by the fans for his 5 years of service and dedication after making 203 appearances and scored 17 goals.

 

He also won three Israeli Premier League titles, two Israeli Super Cup and  Toto Cup.

 

The midfielder next destination is yet unknown, but he has revealed he would like to test himself in Spain or England.
