Okagbue, who has successfully guided FC Ifeanyi Ubah to the top of Group B of the NPFL in 7 matches played, revealed that the turning point was the loss to Abia Warriors earlier in the season.
“Right from the day we lost to Abia Warriors, I told the team not to fret because we would make up and we have done so. We have the depth and with time you will see the best of Ifeanyi Ubah.
When it is time for the Oriental derby we will be ready. No one gave us a chance when the season began, the doubters did not think we could get here. Slowly but surely we will prove them wrong.”
