Onuachu opens goal account, but Genk lose on the road to Charleroi

Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu was on target for Belgian side K.R.C. Genk, but they lost 2-1 on the road to Sporting Charleroi in a Belgian League game on Friday.

The lanky forward played the entire duration of the game and opened his goal account in the 61st for the League champions.

Onuachu did not get game time during the international break against Ukraine, but his goal was a boost to his side after the home side raced to a two-goal lead inside inside the opening 30 minutes of the game.

Meanwhile, his compatriot, Stephen Odey was not listed for the game. Odey was on international duty with the Nigeria U23 team during the international break.

Both will look forward to making the appearance this season in the UEFA Champions League.
