Victor Osimhen came off the bench to fire Lille OSC to a 3-0 victory over Saint Etienne; for his side’s second win in three Ligue Un matches.
Osimhen, who grabbed a brace on his Lille debut, was a forced substitution for Manager Christophe Galtier after veteran Loïc Rémy picked up an early injury in the encounter.
It is unclear how long the former France International will be out for, but the young Nigeria forward came good on the night with another brace.

He opened scoring (18′) for Les Dogues before Jonathan Bamba scored (69′) from the spot to double the home team’s lead.
Sixteen minutes before the end of regulation time, Osimhen struck again (74′) to put the game beyond doubt.
Wednesday’s brace took his goals tally in the league to four, in three appearances, and it also propelled him to the top of the goalscorers’ chart ahead of Lyon duo Memphis Depay and Moussa Dembele, who are both on three goals.
