Patrick Pascal backs Joe Aribo to replace Mikel in Eagles squad

Super Eagles team coordinator Patrick Pascal is backing new boy Joe Aribo to start playing in the Eagles midfield like Mikel Obi after watching him play against Ukraine during the Friendly encounter in Dnipro.

Pascal in a chat with brila.net says, Joe Aribo has a long way to go in the Super Eagles team and he is wishing that the Rangers youngster can fill the shoes of former skipper John Obi Mikel who retired from international football immediately after the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

”Aribo has a long way to go with the Super Eagles team, all we wish for him is to start playing in the midfield like John Obi Mikel, that’s what Nigerians want to see.

”He is twenty years of age and is already playing regularly for Glasgow Rangers in a Scottish top-flight league.
