Kano Pillars forward Nyima Nwangwa has stated that the Kano-based NPFL side are not yet losing hope of a possible shot at the league title after Monday’s 1-1 draw against Enugu Rangers meant pillars now trail by a point to Enyimba who shot themselves to the top of the NPFL Super six table after matchday 4.
Nwangwa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Kano Pillars still retain high hopes of winning the Premier League title despite losing the top spot to the People’s Elephant and also considering that Enyimba have a tougher last fixture against an ambitious Akwa United side who would want to win their last fixture as well.
“Well never give up, this year it has shown in the champions league and everywhere that never give up anything can still be achieved.
“We have put the disappointment of not winning behind us and still very optimistic that result can still go our way.”
