Plateau Utd target Federation’s Cup title after narrowly escaping relegation

Plateau United’s Beninoise import, Salomon Junior has declared that his side would be aiming for the 2019 AITEO Cup trophy as compensation for their woeful outing in the NPFL.

Salomon, in a chat with brila.net, acknowledged the fact that the 2018/2019 season was a very tough one for them but they have a very big dream of shocking everyone in the Federation’s Cup.
“Yeah the season has been a difficult one and the fact that it is an abridged one, we started badly. It has been rather difficult because of bad results, in the end, we had to buckle up and make sure the team didn’t go down.
“Now we just have to look toward the FA Cup to see what we can do and how far we can go. With our form, I believe we can go all the way and win. We want to dream big.”
Salomon also narrated how they struggled not to go down all through the season saying it was indeed a very trying period for the entire fans of Plateau United.
“Yeah we were really happy but it was not easy as you all know we were battling relegation the whole season it’s not been easy for us but we thank God for yesterday’s results we were able to scale through we are  all happy and I know the people of Plateau state will be happy with us.”
Plateau United escaped relegation with a goalless draw played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium against Delta Force.
