Police in Lagos has begun questioning music video director and son of ace juju musician, Clarence Peters, over the death of dancer and choreographer, Love Divines, popularly known as Picture Kodak.
The professional dancer died last Wednesday at Peters’ Omole Phase 1 residence.

The music director is being detained at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Yaba.
Peters is said to have been in police custody since Saturday. Others who were at the scene when the incident occurred have also been invited for questioning.

Kodak was said to have been electrocuted when she received a call on her mobile phone while it was charging.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.

The young dancer was at Peters’ residence along with others in preparation for a video shoot.

However, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bala Elkana, said the producer is detained and being interrogated for a murder.

According to Bala:

“Peters is in our custody answering some questions. We are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of the dancer.
It is a murder charge. We are probably looking at murder. We are not concluding at this stage. If she died of electrocution according to reports, it is left for us to find out. Was she actually electrocuted? What went wrong? An autopsy will also show.”
