Rangers goalkeeper insists home-based players aren’t broke

Enugu Rangers’ goalkeeper Femi Thomas has stated that the Nigerian home-based players who ply their trade in the Nigerian professional football league are not poor.

Femi in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively says the players in the local league are not broke when compared to their foreign counterparts.
“It is really confirmed that we are not really poor, the only thing we need to do is management,’ he said.
‘Sometimes, a lot of our guys fail to manage the funds we realize from the business of football here in Nigeria and that’s one of the major problems,’
The player also gave some words of appreciation to the Chairman of his club Enugu Rangers, who he claimed has been doing great in terms of players’ welfare.
”The management of Owumi who is a seasoned hardworking manager has been up to date with the welfare of players, players welfare is not an issue here he said”
