Nigeria forward Sone Aluko has completed a loan move to Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe from English Championship side Reading till January 2020.
The Nigeria international finally decided to play outside his country for birth for the first time in his injury-ravaged career.
Aluko struggled to make an impact at Reading in the English Championship this season finding the back of net once in 19 games.
The former Hull City man joined Reading from Fulham in August 2017 and scored four goals in 60 appearances.
The 30-year-old is expected to make his debut for Beijing Renhe when the 2019 Chinese Super League begins with a visit to Shandong Luneng on Friday.
