Nigeria National League side Remo Stars FC has terminated the contract of the captain, Saheed Lasisi on mutual consent.
Reports confirmed the player and the club decided to go their separate ways but reasons for their separation were undisclosed.
Saheed Lasisi joined Remo Stars FC in 2012, and he helped the club gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional football league twice.
Lasisi had a brief spell with Kogi United, Gateway United, and Crown FC before returning to unite with the Sky Blue Stars in 2016.
Saheed Lasisi was appointed by Daniel Ogunmodede to become the captain last season.
