As the 2018/2019 Nigeria professional football league set to kick-off tomorrow, one of the league’s enterprising attacker Sikiru Olatunbosun who is set to make his debut for his new team PlateauUnited has released a message thanking MFM FC for his development.
Olatunbosun formed a deadly partnership with the duo of Chukwuka Onuwa and Stephen Odey in 2016/2017 season as the Olukoya Boys finished the season as runners up to Plateau United, the Club he recently signed for.
However, the midfielder has thanked the Lagos based team for the opportunity they gave and singled out former coach Fidelis Ilechukwu for praises in his emotional farewell.
” I want to use this channel to appreciate the management, fans, & the coaching crew led by a brother, a father figure, Fidelis Ilechukwu.
I know the supporters & the fans wanted me to remain & I would have loved to but I had to leave for good reasons” The reason for his exit did not take long in coming following further disclosure via @Skolatunbosun.
He added that he’s delighted to join Plateau United and want to succeed with the team.
“Now I am @plateauutdfc for the new season that will be starting tomorrow. The reception was massive & the atmosphere is great & I am loving it here.
I want to be successful & achieve with this team, I want to win the league & be among the history makers at the end of it all” he submitted.
Plateau United host FC Ifeayin Ubah tomorrow in the opening NPFL Group B game in Jos.
