Hon. Ned Nwoko

MISGIVINGS from certain quarters of Idumuje-Ugboko community in
Aniocha North local government area Delta State over acquisition of
large expanse of land for the location of the Stars University;

Africa’s first Sports University notwithstanding, encomiums have
continued to pour on Prince Hon. Ned Nwoko, the man behind such rare
vision. Whereas, the developmental prowess and exceptional
philanthropy of the star Prince had defied several adjectives
associated with flurry of awards from sons and daughters of
Idumuje-Ugboko and beyond; who believe that he is God sent, the recent
outpouring of encomium comes from a notable son of the community who
doubles as the President of the Youth Association; Comrade  Kogwuonye
Chukuwka.  To Comrade Chukwuka, Prince Hon. Ned Nwoko strikes the
semblance of one sent by God to liberate his immediate community,
Idumuje-Ugboko in particular, nay Nigeria as a whole.  In a rather
terse piece but rich in content made available to CrimeWorld, Comrade
Chukwuka describes the location of the Stars University in
Idumuju-Ugboko by Prince Ned Nwoko as an unsurpassed development in
the annals of the community, Delta State and Nigeria in general.

According to him, the Stars University has surreptitiously placed
Idumuje-Ugboko in a global compass. He writes: “The Stars University
is the best development that has visited our community, Idumuje
Ugboko. It’s a special thanks to you, our Star Prince, Honourable Dr.
Prince Ned Nwoko for bringing this fast development to our community.
People now see our community as one of the biggest cities in Nigeria,
a community that the Whites now visit at all times. Honourable Dr.
Prince Ned Nwoko, we are proud of you , Ugboko is proud of you,
Aniocha North is proud of you, Delta State is proud of you, Nigeria as
a country is proud of you and Africa as a continent is proud of you.”

Continuing he said, “He is Ugboko’s first son and Africa’s best man of
the year. It is not easy for an individual to strive to eradicate
Malaria fever in Africa; the first African and second Black to visit
the Antarctica, so we are proud of you. We, the youth of
Idumuje-Ugboko will keep supporting you for the opportunity and for
the fast development and progress of Idumuje-Ugboko which you are
championing. You are an Ambassador to many countries; we are proud
that you are a Nigerian not just a son of Idumuje-Ugboko, talk more of
Anioma. So we couldn’t have been much happier having you as one of us
and not a Whiteman. You are indeed the lion of Africa.”
