National Captain of the Stallions Rugby team of Nigeria, Azeez Ladipo has expressed deep worries over the state of Rugby in the country.
In a chat with brila.net Azeez said he is worried and saddened about the manner at which rugby is being managed in the country.
“I’m worried, it gives me a sleepless night as well, but I think it’s left for the management and the cooperate bodies to look into the affairs and work on a way to grow the game in Nigeria,” Ladipo said.
Rugby is one sport in the world that is pulling weight along the most popular games like football basketball, cricket, and Tennis but the growth in Nigeria is not seen yet as regards competition, the league, and its education.
