Super Eagles already winning in AFCON 2019 before Matchday

Nigeria’s AFCON 2019 campaign gets underway on June 22nd, but before even kicking a ball the Super Eagles are already winning a familiar contest.

The resplendent lime green patterned jersey will feature in Egypt and as it did in Russia almost a Year ago, it’s turning heads and winning hearts.

A glimpse of the Super Eagles team photoshoot was released by CAF on Wednesday as part of the build-up for the tournament which kicks start this weekend.

Accompanying the caption with four pictures capturing the jersey of Ahmed Musa, while Omeruo modeled his number 22 Jersey.

Alex Iwobi’s pose was also selected by the official twitter page of CAF to herald the Eagles’ readiness for the competition.

Nigeria will open it’s AFCON 2019 Group B business against Burundi on June 22.
