Coach Gernot Rohr has stated that he is already braced for what could turn out to be a potentially tough 2019 AFCON group stage draws for Nigeria albeit expressed why Nigeria despite her current ranking as number 4 still had to fall short of been in Pot 1.
Rohr speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the outcome of been in Pot 2 means Nigeria will face one of the strongest 6 teams and a potential meeting with a strong team from Pot 2 which could means the battle to make it far in the AFCON might be tough from the start.
He added that this is however not to write off Nigeria’s chances because he is sure the Eagles are strong enough and would only have to work hard and remain modest in their approach.
