Lobi Stars midfielder Tamara Ezekiel has lamented his side 1-1 draw with Enyimba international of Aba in one of week nine matches of the Nigeria professional football league.
The Aba Elephants who are the defending Champions hosted the 2018 winners at the Aba township stadium on Wednesday.
However it was Enyimba who laboured to rescue a point from the game, courtesy of Victor Mbaoma’s 80th minutes goal after Samad Kadiri had put Ogunbote’s ahead three minutes earlier.
Ezekiel however told Cornerstonenewsng.comin a exclusive post match interview that the team regretted not picking the three points against the Champions.
‘it was a difficult game , because playing against Enyimba in Aba is not easy “,
“We pushed hard and got a goal , which I think we should have protected till the end of the game, but it’s football , we happy with a point”. He told brila.net.
