Previously on the African Knockout Show, Segun gets special permission from the boss for an off camp date with Dami to clear the air and rivalry ends in pain from injury and celebrity comedian, Basket Mouth scores a knockout in a friendly bout with host, Okey Bakassi, white wolf get their revenge in the arena games, the second quarter-final concludes with a let apart and the lucky losers try their best to gain the favor of the voting public.

As fighters prepare for the day with their morning training before the day’s challenge, technical issues seem to be eating up the camp way more than usual.

The last military-style course took the center stage as every member of the winning team gets a 9mobile tablet plus the bragging rights at stake in the AKO Supreme seeing that this is the last obstacle course of the seasons. All fighters are expected to put in their best performance with team steel looking the likely winner until the pinpoint ball arena dominated by team white wolf putting themselves back in contention.

This last course will now determine who takes it away as the overall winner. Those in the lucky losers group are conscious of the viewer’s watch as their performance will make the difference between their survival and leaving the competition.

The course which is in the reverse other saw Coach Onoja, winner of the last challenge with a practical demonstration of how the challenge is done as the rest of the team watches on in keen attention.

And they are off to a good start, white wolf with a slight lead from Damilare a.k.a the best but Jude managed to take over and finish up before him to tap his next team fighter.

Team steel not slowing down as Segun the captain takes off, the sweetest of victory for team steel as they cross the finish line. Segun revealed he went last because it was a strategy, a preview of the course before the actual day as he admitted to do a little to hand over the victory to his team.

Richard for Team white wolf confessed that Collins’s performance affected the team in a bad way as they lost a great opportunity and it’s so unfortunate that there is no other chance for a fightback or makes plans again.

“We lost here means that we are about to win in the cage which is the real goal but we lost the phone, there’s a good package, a prize one strives to win but since he didn’t fall in our favor, God knows best so we will go the cage and handle it, team coach for white wolf admonished his boys.”

Okey Bakassi gave each of the contestants a beaded bracelet and asked them to place it under the pillow of the fighter they consider as the greatest rival in the competition irrespective of the team they belong to.

BACK TO WEEK 7

The host asked them to go back and check under their pillows and put any bead found on their wrist and converge back to the ground.

Richard, Damilare placed their beads under their pillow as they revealed that no one is their rival in the camp as others put theirs’ in their various opponent pillow.

Ndidi Alonu from team white wolf got the highest bead donation which mostly means respect to him.

With the lucky losers bout drawing ever closer, successful contestants from the common tournament gathered to discuss how to best choose the camp’s champion. For the lucky losers draw for viewer’s choice and AKO camp selection for a battle back into the tournament.

Two out of seven will be meeting in a special match-up to determine who goes into the last quarter-finals as viewers will also be voting.

The viewer’s Choice up first was Daniel Okechi, the contestant will now decide who meets the viewer’s choice with an open, free, and fair voting, not team dependent including Daniel, who gets the chance to vote who fight him.

Daniel Okechi voted for his brother as he wants him to come back into the game so that they can move together.

12 voters voted Daniel Ambrose, a member of the Nigeria armed forces to face Daniel Okechi after their face-off as both fighters reveal their closest relationship in the camp.

And the lucky loser bout is on, battle of the uniforms, Daniel lost to Damilare and Ambrose via leg kick lost to Daniel Emeka, obviously, Ambrose hasn’t learned anything as Okechi hit him with a kick up.

Two fighters claim for a moment with a tough leg kick staggering Ambrose and another one. The first round is over with the policeman edging that with his kick and Ambrose, lots of more to do.

Ambrose started the second round with a leg kick, fighters engage and Daniel going for head kicks. Daniel follows with a leg kick, connects with a kick in the mid-section with legs kick piling up.

Daniel ended the second round feeling good with Ambrose exposed as he connects with another leg kick with Ambrose unable to get a close on the ground grip, a moment of genius performance is needed as his legs give way after a mistimed kick giving way for Ambrose. It’s over as Daniel sustained an injury and fell off after winning two rounds succumbing in 4 mins, 40 seconds won by referee stoppage contest.
