President of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation Engr. Tikon Ishaku has stated that he is sure of Nigerian players that will be representing Nigeria at the fast approaching International Table Tennis Federation West Africa open which begins coming weekend in Côte d’ivoire.
Tikon told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat Nigeria is blessed with abundance of talented players and that the ITTF west Africa open will be a ground to further test a couple of junior players and some senior players in CIV.
“The ones we are sending to CIV, they are good to go. But not the popular names the likes of Aruna, Jide and the rest. But certainly the result you will hear or they will get in CIV I’m sure will confirm their quality.
“We are just testing the ground on that category of the Junior players, so we are having combination of both the junior players and the senior players going to CIV.”
