Ubong Friday completes move to Armenia club FC Lori

Akwa United forward Ubong Friday has successfully completed his transfer from the Nigeria Professional Football League side to Armenia top-flight side FC Lori.

 

Cornerstonenewsng.comgathered that the deal will see the former Akwa United vice-captain remain with the European side for two seasons with the option of an additional year.

 

The two-time Aiteo Federation Cup winner was pictured with the officials of the Club holding his new team jersey with his name and number at the back.

 

The winger was also a was a member of home-based Super Eagles, helping the team to a second place finish at 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations held in Ghana, but was dropped from Salisu Yusuf’s squad that got to the final of 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco.

 

FC Lori are placed fifth in the Armenians nine team top flight division with 26 points from 18 games.
