Uche Nwofor confident of Eagles’ ability ahead 2019 AFCON

Former Super Eagles striker Uchenna Nwofor has expressed his confidence concerning the ability of the Super Eagles giving a good account of themselves at the AFCON in Egypt.

The Eagles will be looking to take their rightful place amongst the continent’s elite in a new 24 team tournament later this year.

 

Speaking with www.brila.net, Nwofor, who was part of the Eagles team to the FIFA world cup in 2014 under the late Stephen Keshi says they will have a good outing at the Nation’s cup due to the quality of players presently in the national team.

 

“When I look at the players in the national team, I am very confident”

 

“We have players who play in different leagues across the world, especially in England, Spain, Germany, France etc.”

 

“With the results the team has been getting recently, I believe Nigeria is going to be a threat to other countries”, he concluded.
