UFC 243: Nigeria’s Israel Adesanya is the new Undisputed middleweight world champion

Nigeria‘s Israel Adesanya produced the best performance of his career to claim UFC middleweight title from champion Robert Whittaker in spectacular fashion at UFC 243 in Melbourne, Australia.

Adesanya, 30, who has now extended his perfect professional recordto 18-0 produced a near perfect fight to take Whittaker to the cleaners after just three minutes and 33 seconds of to win the undisputed UFC middleweight title in front of nearly 60,000 fans at Marvel Stadium.

Whittaker started on a front foot , throwing a lot of big jabs s but Adesanya held on and delivered a big right hand in the final seconds to send Whittaker crashing to the canvas, but he survived first-round .

In the second round, Adesanya landed another big right hand on the face of the champion , but Whittaker retaliates with a powerful left hook as the pair started trading punches.

And, as the pair went toe to toe trading big shots in the middle of the octagon, Adesanyas right-left combination to send Whittaker to the canvas, but referee Marc Goddard‘s intervention spare the Australian further punishment in front of his home crowd.

Former kickboxing star who hails from Ogun State in Southern part of Nigeria arrived the UFC from MMA last year with an undefeated 11-0 record.
