Rangers have completed the signing of Super Eagles’ forward Umar Sadiq on a season-long loan from Roma, subject to international clearance.
Sadiq, 21, joined Roma’s academy from Spezia in the summer of 2015 – immediately joining up with the club’s Under-19 side.
He made his senior debut for the club against Genoa in November 2015 and scored his first senior goal for the club in January 2016.
An Olympic bronze medallist with Nigeria in the summer of 2016, he spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Serie A side Bologna.
Last season he had two further loan spells, at Torino and Dutch side NAC Breda.
