Utaka lauds Rohr for accepting new Super Eagles contract

Former Super Eagles and Rennes winger John Utaka has hailed coach Genort Rohr for accepting the NFF’s offer to continue his job with the National team.

The former RC Lens forward stated that Rohr will do even better if given the time and support given to the likes of Bonfere Jo who ended up winning the Olympics gold medal for Nigeria.
Utaka speaking exclusively to Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the players are getting used to Genort Rohr and he thinks he will win something for the country if more support is given to him.
“The boys know him more than the previous person, so give him that chance and support just like the little they did with Bonfere Jo at the Olympics.”
“He might do better than what he has done but I think, he will do a good job.” Utaka said.
Utaka played for Nigeria until 2014 and was a participant at the 2002 World Cup. He started four of Nigeria’s six games in the 2006 African Cup of Nations, in which Nigeria finished in third place.
