WAFU Cup of Nations: Imama desperate to avenge Eagles’ 4-1 defeat in Lome

Imama Amapakabo is a man seeking vengeance and he could get his wish this weekend when Nigeria and Togo clash for the second time in 7 days.

Togo humbled Nigeria 4-1 in a 2020 African Nations Championship qualifier in Lome, and the pains are fresh in the mind of the Eagles Head Coach.

Both teams will, for the second time in a little over 7 days go head to head, at the WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal this Sunday and Imama says it won’t end the same for Togo.

“We’ll face them in the WAFU tournament in Senegal. Then we’ll see if the result will be same or if we’ve learnt anything,” Imama told brila.net.
