Captain of newly promoted Gombe united Alhassan Yusuf is relishing his side’s return to the topflight league after picking one of the four promotion spots available to play in the Premier League following the team’s goalless draw against Kada city yesterday.
The draw handed the team a second place finish and eventually knocked out Kogi United and Real stars. Speaking on the team’s return to the Premier League is the captain Alhassan Yusuf who told www.brila.net that they are happy for achieving the primary target of securing promotion back to the NPFL.
He thereafter said Gombe United is ready to compete in the Premier League and that he is sure the team will be handsomely rewarded by the state Government upon their return to base.
