Nigeria will get it’s 2018 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations campaign up underway against defending Champions Senegal on December 8.
It will be fireworks in Nigeria’s opening group B game at the 2018 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations when they go up against Senegal.
Senegal are defending champions; emerging at the expense of Nigeria two years ago in Lagos.
The grudge match will pitch the Sand Eagles against four-time winners of the tournament and their perennial rivals as the first game of the group.
There will be massive implications in that first match for which ever team loses and the Nigerian Head Coach Audu Adamu recognizes the threat Senegal poses.
In a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comhe impressed on the Nigeria FA on the need to commence preparation early, although the final tournament is only 38 days before the opening match.
The Sand Eagles have only previously won Bronze in the tournament in 2015; until 2016 when they finished as runner-up.
Other teams in group B are lucky qualifiers Libya and debutants Tanzania, who like Libya qualified after their opponents withdrew from the qualifiers.
