2019 U20 World Cup: Africa’s best teams are heading to Poland, says Amunike

Following his role as part of the technical study group during the U20 AYC tournament that was staged in Niger Republic and saw Senegal, Mali, Nigeria, and South Africa qualify of the FIFA U20 world cup in Poland, former Super Eagles player and head coach of the Tanzanian national team, Emmanuel Amunike has revealed that the best teams qualified for the showpiece.

In a chat with www.brila.net, Amunike also added that the teams need to go back to their various homes and improve, knowing that they will battle the South Americans and Europeans at the world cup.
“The teams that qualified for Poland are the best teams in the championship in Niger”
They have to look to at what they have done in the tournament, they were able to pick a spot for the world cup, barring it in mind that they would compete with the likes of South America and Europeans”
“It’s going to be a more higher standard, he concluded.
The FIFA U20 runs from the 25th of May to the 16th of June 2019.
