The CP who felicitates with Muslim faithful said that he has put in place, adequate security, before, during and after the celebrations. According to him, there was no cause of alarm as the command has already stepped up security in the state through the robust deployment of equipment and men to nooks and crannies of the state.
The CP reiterates the command’s commitment to discharging its statutory mandate of securing lives and properties, maintaining peace and order at all times. He called on members of the public to furnish the police and other security agencies with vital and useful information that would enable them to serve the good people of the state better.
He advised members of the public to be security-conscious and take appropriate measures towards personal protection and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centres, shopping malls, cinema halls and highways.
