A peacemaker, Lukman Kabiru was on Sunday night stabbed to death while separating a fight between Murtala Dare and a call girl at a popular drinking spot, near Amusement park, lokoja, Kogi State.
It was gathered that at about 11:00 pm, Dare reportedly wanted to fight a call girl who took a customer behind his shop for sexual pleasure.
Dare was said to have interrupted the sex escapade threatening to beat the call girl for not settling him the usual N200 toll he usually collects from nightcrawlers who use his shop for sexual pleasure.
Lukeman was said to have intervened and pleaded with Dare not to beat the girl, but Dare who was angry at Lukeman broke a bottle and allegedly stabbed him in the neck.
It was gathered that Dare and Lukeman had been having running battle when they were sharing the same shop, a development that made Lukeman relocate to the opposite side where he was doing furniture works.
Dare, described as highly temperamental was said to be collecting ₦200 each from nightcrawlers who use the open space for sexual pleasure.
A police officer said Dare has been arrested .
