Enyimba FC goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai had downplayed the ambition and ability of giant killing sides like Dakada FC after the People’s Elephant 2-1 loss to the Uyo based side yesterday.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with brila.net rued Enyimba’s last minute loss after almost snatching a draw but the defeat means the newly promoted side seat second on the league table although Afelokhai believes the season is still too early to take any of the early pacesetters seriously.
“We just throw the game away and they collected their point because we supposed to beat them of at least have a draw, we made some mistake which made them win the game.
And I believe it’s too early to be talking about who is going for the title because I believe when the time comes and when the jungle matures, then we will differentiate the boys from the men.”
