African Games: Flying Eagles Must Be Ready For Dangerous Morrocans

Flying Eagles Coach Paul Aigbogun believe that his boys have what it takes to get the better of their Morrocan counterparts when both sides meet on Friday.

 

The former African champions will take on the Morrocans in the third group game at the on 12th All African Games in Rabat Morroco, with qualifications for the next round on the line.

 

The Flying Eagles played 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso in the opening, before beating South Africa 2-0 on Tuesday to claim their first three points.

 

However, Aigbogun believed his boys must rise to the occasions against the hosts tomorrow to maintain their unbeaten run at the game.

 

“We will remain focused, we were glad that we won, getting the maximum points, but we will not be carried away by the result and will remain focused ahead of the last group match against the host nation,” Aigbogun said.

 

The former Enyimba international of Aba technical adviser added that the clash against the young Atlas Lions will be difficult, but urged his boy to leave everything they have on the pitch.

 

“It is going to be a difficult one considering the fact that they are the host nation and need to win.

 

“No team has qualified from this group and it is still open to everyone so, we need to give it our best in the last group match if we want to progress in the tournament.”  He concluded.
