Former Nigeria international Julius Aghahowa has tasked the Nigeria U20 national team to give their all and work even harder ahead of today’s semi final clash with Mali in the football event at the ongoing Africa games in Morocco.
Aghahowa speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the Nigerian team needs to stay true to the stark reality that they are playing against a side that can beat them and one they can also beat, hence the need not to take things for granted and simply be determined about their quest to stay on the hunt for Gold medal glory.
“I believe every team that has come this far, they deserve their place and so they should not look down on any team.
The Flying Eagles can beat Mali likewise Mali can also beat Nigeria. Any team that has gotten to this point is a very strong side. So the hard work that has gotten them this far, they should continue doing the hard work.”
