Ex-International Julius Aghaowa has urged the Flying Eagles of Nigeria to give their all in today’s final group stage game against Ukraine and get guaranteed qualification to the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA U20 world cup in Poland.
Aghahowa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said since the Flying Eagles have been cornered with limited option on ground, the best thing to do is to simply race their game, out in more effort and ultimately get the maximum points to avoid mathematical permutations which would be the case should the team get any result less than a victory.
“It’s a must-win game so they have to give everything. This is where they need to give everything because this game needs a win.
“And for them to guarantee the next stage, we need to win this game so that we don’t need to be calculating and thinking what’s the other team going to play. If they play a draw, for instance, it will be down to the result of other teams.”
Nigeria will with a win seal qualification to the next round of the FIFA U20 world cup.
