Ahmed Musa hails Al Nassr teammates after bagging first career hattrick

Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has applauded his Al Nassr teammates and fans after his team secure a comfortable 3-0 victory in a game that also saw him net his first career hat-trick.

 

Musa who recently moved to Al Nassr having played for Leicester City said scored his first career hat trick to continue his goalscoring form since moving to Saudi Arabia.

 

The Super Eagles vice-captain expressed his gratitude on a post on Instagram saying, “Great teamwork! Thanks to my teammates to get the away victory and happy to get my first hat-trick for the club”.

 

Musa opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a shot from just outside the box after receiving a through pass from Hamdallah.

 

He doubled the lead five minutes before half-time and Al Quadisiya’s hopes of mounting a comeback ended when the Nigerian scored again in the 66th minute.

 

Thanks to Musa’s hat-trick, Al Nassr provisionally top the standings with a hundred percent record in their first three games of the new season.

 

The team has another game again on Monday in which the Super Eagles forward will be looking to continue his rich vein of form.
