After clinching his second title as the Super Falcons Coach, Thomas Dennerby has stated that he’s promising the country a quarter finals spot at the world cup in France.
In an exclusive interview with Brila.net, the coach said they have derived enough motivation from the just concluded WAFU competition and it will be a motivation to the team and the players as they are in their last phase of camping for the competition in France.
”My coaching crew and the entire back room staff are ensuring Nigerians that we will get out of the group stages and move gradually up in the competition and our target is to get to the quarter finals “Dennerby told brila.net.
The selected home based players and the two foreign based, Uchenna Kanu and Esther Sunday left with the team on Monday evening from Nigeria to their camp in Austria where the team will camp for the final world cup preparations.
