Super Eagles defender Olaoluwa Aina was in action in Sunday’s italian serie A game involving his side Torino and Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
The Nigerian full back came in the 12th for injured Lorenzo De Silvestri and was yellow carded few minutes later.
Simone Zaza made it 1 – 0 for the Walter Mazzarri’s side in the 22nd minutes , before Cristian Ansaldi added the second with 18 minutes left on the clock courtesy of Aina’s assist.
Martin Caceres reduced the deficit for the visitors on the dot of 90 minutes, but Torino held on to see the results over the line.
Torino currently occupied 9th position on the league table with 20 points from 15 matches.
