Former Wikki Tourists of Bauchi coach Aliyu Zubairu has joined Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Gombe United on Monday.
Zubairu who resigned his appointment as the head coach of Wikki Tourists on Sunday, signed two years contract with the Savannah Scorpions.
Aliyu Zubairu said he’s happy with challenges ahead of him at the Club, but admit the Club is bit late as far as preparations for the NNL season are concerned.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the club, Sule Musa (Jasper) assured the new Technical Adviser and his technical crew the management’s support ahead of the coming season.
Apart from managing Wikki Tourists , Zubairu also had a brief spell with Akwa United in the Nigeria professional football league.
