We had expressed fears about how not to be implicated when we give out information to the Police, but with the phone numbers you have given out today, we can’t entertain any fear. We are ready to work with you”. He commended Engr.

Valentine Buraimoh, who he said had constituted a team of intellectuals that would work with security agencies on issues of drugs, human trafficking, and other crimes. According to him, through the team, members of the public could also pass reasonable information that would assist in the war against crime,” but the public should give accurate and genuine information.

If you give fake information, either mischievously or out of malice, you will be arrested for giving false information and the police will not take us seriously in time of distress.

I want to thank the workaholic CP for the good works he has been doing and I want to assure him that we will support him in his fight against crime” In response, CP Edgal said with the phone numbers given to the public, all information passed to the police would be treated with utmost confidentiality. He said,”all hands must be on the deck to rid the State of cultism and drugs.

Our children are being taken away from us by hoodlums, especially cultists and drug peddlers. If we allow them to take away our children, our future is doomed. The bad news is that drug peddlers are selling tramadol to pupils.

I mean primary school children. We arrested two men that were selling tramadol to pupils. This how bad the situation is.

I, therefore, called on religious organizations to take five minutes during preaching and tell the children the evil of cultism and drugs. Parents should not be afraid to talk to their children. Know what your child is doing at any point in time. Know who is your children’s friends”.
