Ahead of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Junior circuit in Ilaro, Ogun State medal hopeful and emerging sprint star Perpetua Nwana says she’s focused on “winning”.
Perpetua suffered a minor set back last season with series of injuries and saw her hopes of a big return to the tracks at the National Sports Festival scuppered after her sponsors withdrew citing financial problems.
Speaking with brila.net, the Speedster said, ” I’m going out there to fight out on the track and win; that’s my target.”
Arrival date for the AFN Junior Circuit has been confirmed as the 14th of March while the two-day event will hold on 15th-17th March.
