The Super Eagles duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem featured as Leganes share spoils with Mallorca in Spanish La Liga game played at the Mallorca Estadio on Friday.
While Awaziem has started all the games since the league returned, Omeruo failed to step on the pitch against Barcelona in the previous, but he got the nod from the coach, Javier Agguire, and played all the entire minutes.
Leganes came into the game knowing that only a win against their fellow strugglers would boost their hope of avoiding relegation, however, they soon find themselves behind with just nine minutes into the encounter after Salva Sevilla gave the hosts the lead.
Leganes chased the game and got their well-deserved equalizer, through Oscar Rodriguez, three minutes left before the 90 minutes.
Leganes remain bottom of the table with 24 points with eight matches left, while Mallorca is placed 18th with 26 points.
