Balogun ready to work with new manager Potter at Brighton

Nigeria international, Leon Balogun will work with new gaffer Graham Potter ahead of the next season.

Potter who was appointed on Monday as the new manager of premier league side, Brighton replaced Chris Hughton who was sacked at the weekend .

The 44-year-old coach signed a four-year deal with the Seagulls as a replacement for Chris Houghton who was sacked a week ago.

Balogun will hope for a new life at the Amex after been used as a cover up for Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk for most part of last season.

 

“I was sold by the long-term vision and passion shown by Tony Bloom, Paul Barber and Dan Ashworth. The ideas and plans they have for the future of this football club excited me and I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of it,” Potter said.
